چکیده

Background: Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems allow the use of electroencephalographic activities to control devices. As such, it can be an important tool for disabled people since using a BCI does not involves any muscular stimulation. Despite its great potential as assistive technology, are yet scarcely available outside scientific contexts. The main reason is that still accurate enough real world situations. In this paper, we investigated if mindfulness meditation help users perform better, particularly on controlling wheeled robots. Controlling robots must seen research issue, take best advantages from Methods: Case-control study with 30 subjects, meditators and non-meditators, who controlled simulated robot system. Results: straight-ahead moves, was 30% faster when by meditators. stop-and-go accuracy 66% while non-meditators’ 27%. rectangular shape also performed better than 40% against 7% non-meditators. Conclusion: results show recommend combining standard training protocols robots.

Wheeled Rob 17 . Wheeled Robots

The purpose of this chapter is to introduce, analyze, and compare the models of wheeled mobile robots (WMR) and to present several realizations and commonly encountered designs. The mobility of WMR is discussed on the basis of the kinematic constraints resulting from the pure rolling conditions at the contact points between the wheels and the ground. According to this discussion it is shown tha...

Fuzzy Motion Control for Wheeled Mobile Robots in Real-Time

Due to various advantages of Wheeled Mobile Robots (WMRs), many researchers have focused to solve their challenges. The automatic motion control of such robots is an attractive problem and is one of the issues which should carefully be examined. In the current paper, the trajectory tracking problem of WMRs which are actuated by two independent electrical motors is deliberated. To this end, and ...

Effective Task Training Strategies for Instructional Robots

From teaching in labs to training for assembly, a key role that robots are expected to play is to instruct their users in completing physical tasks. While task instruction requires a wide range of capabilities, such as effective use of verbal and nonverbal language, a fundamental requirement for an instructional robot is to provide its students with task instructions in a way that maximizes the...

An Infrared Docking System for Modular Wheeled Mobile Robots

A modular wheeled mobile robot is composed of autonomous wheeled modules capable of selfassembling to form up a modular mobile robot. The robot can change the number of its modules by having the modules detach themselves from the main body and move independently. In this paper, we propose a docking system for such robots, including a connection mechanism and a docking guidance system. The conne...

Modeling of slip for wheeled mobile robots

This paper introduces error eliminating rapid ultrasonic$nng(EERUF), a new method for firing multiple ultrasonic sensors in mobilerobot applications. EERUF allows ultrasonic sensors to fire at ratesthat are five to ten times faster than those customary in conventionalapplications. This is possible because EERUF reduces the number oferroneous readings due to ultrasonic noise ...
